In a world that often encourages modesty and humility, it’s essential to remember that sharing your accomplishments can be a powerful and positive experience. When you do something that fills you with pride, whether it’s a personal achievement or a professional milestone, sharing it with others can be a source of motivation, inspiration and connection.
It can often feel a bit strange to share celebrating our accomplishments openly but remember, doing this can reinforce your own self-esteem and self-worth. It is a reminder of your capabilities and the hard work you’ve invested to achieve your goals.
Moreover, sharing your achievements can inspire others, especially those who may be facing similar challenges or pursuing similar dreams. Your success can serve as motivation and a roadmap for them.
In addition to this, creating an opportunity to discuss your proud moments can strengthen relationships. It allows you to connect with others on a deeper level, fostering a sense of trust and camaraderie.
It also opens the door for collaboration and support from those who want to see you succeed.
So, the next time you accomplish something that makes you feel proud, don’t hesitate to share it!
Embrace your achievements, and remember that celebrating your success not only benefits you but also uplifts and inspires those around you.
Our Recruitment Account Manager @SophieHolden moved mountains last week whilst stepping outside of her comfort zone, all in the name of Pimento Connection. Demonstrating her commitment to the industry in which she thrives, and to us as a company.
Throughout this month Pimento’s very own Recruitment Account Manager, @VickyAllibone has been meeting the Cancer Research challenge of 100 skips a day and is proud to say she has raised a significant amount to donate. We salute you Vicky for making an incredible contribution to the charity.
Finally, our CEO @CarolineBentley has just completed Couch to 5K #c25k with 27 runs in 9 weeks, managing to smash the final two 5k runs in just 30 minutes each. We are super impressed with her personal achievement outside of work.
Sharing personal wins is important for teams to bond together, for colleagues and associates to form relationships outside of work and to have a reason to embrace a mutual interest.
We are all human, not just working robots so let’s get into the habit of celebrating achievements outside of the work environment.
It is an important way to connect and grow together.
